Yes! We offer custom cut beef and pork. All custom cut beef and pork is sold as live animals due to South Dakota law. For Beef, Todd Ranch offers 1/4. 1/2 and whole beef. For Pork, Todd Ranch offers 1/2 an whole hogs.
Custom Cut means you buy a portion of a living animal that is delivered to a butcher. It is between the customer and the butcher to determine how the meat is cut. This means you get to select the cuts you want, the thickness and weight of cuts and how you want it packaged.
No. Our beef is typically butchered around 3 times per year.
Our pork is butchered one time per year.
However, you can always contact us to get your name put onto our waitlist.
Most of our custom cut beef orders are ordered 6+ months out, but orders earlier than that are welcomed.
On some occasions 1/4 or 1/2'a become available closer to the butcher date. If some becomes available an emails is sent to our email list and posted on our social media accounts. There 1/2's and 1/2's typically go really fast.
Custom cut pork is typically ordered 2 months in advance, but orders earlier than that are welcome.
On some occasions 1/2 or whole hogs become available closer to the butcher date. If a 1/2 hog or whole hog becomes available an email is sent to our email list and posted on our social media accounts. These 1/2's and whole typically go really fast!
